Known issue 10 Feb 2026: site outage (resolved)

Affected time period: Tuesday 10 February 2026 from approximately 9:15 to 9:25 am

 

Status: resolved

For approximately 10 minutes on Tuesday 10th February 2026, Educake was experiencing database problems.

 

What this looked like:

  • students and teachers may not have been able to access the website - they might have seen a message saying "The Educake site is down for a short while for essential maintenance."

  • students using the website might not have been able to submit answers to questions

 

The issues has now been resolved and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience it has caused. If you have any questions about this, please contact us on support@educake.co.uk.
